There are some who claim that using illegal drugs is a victimless crime. Nonsense.

Meet 12 victims of the illegal drug trade

.

For the Texas 12!

When law enforcement descended on the property they had had under surveillance for distribution and manufacture of illegal drugs, they found 60 dogs, including 14 French Bulldogs on the property, living in unclean and disgusting rabbit hutches and being used as a cover to explain the group's income. Why, they weren't filthy, scofflaw drug dealers! They were law abiding and respectable puppy millers!7 adult dogs were taken into custody and delivered to a shelter. Two were adopted on the spot by shelter workers, and the remaining 5 adults and the seven puppies were surrendered to FBRN to be vetted and placed. All the adult dogs have heartworm. Failing to treat an outside dog with heartworm preventative in the depths of heartworm country is, itself, a criminal act of neglect. Or it should be. The 3-4 week old puppies seem healthy so far, but will have to be tested and re-tested for heartworm in the coming weeks and months. Please take a look at the Texas Twelve on their foster page. We have taken in 20 foster dogs this week alone! We could really use some financial assistance for these Frenchies--Can you help? Consider making a donation as penance for some of those wasted days and wasted nights of your misspent youth!

Adorable Raisin has had some wrinkles in her life. She lost an eye and she's had pancreatitis, but now she's rarin' to join your happy family as your solo canine companion!
She's a very good girl! She's housebroken and she has lovely manners. She's also a pretty little thing with an eternal wink, so you will always be in on the joke. Check out her bio and see if Raisin could bring some sweet, chewy flavor to your family. Want to be her forever home? She's got her eye out for you!
